We produce our own Fine Art Giclée prints at the Morton Arts Studio in Massachusetts, USA. Each one is hand signed and titled and numbered as part of a Limited Edition. The prints are made with EPSON Archival Ultrachrome Pigmented Inks that have superior resistance to water, fading and smudging. Instructions are also provided, regarding the proper care of the prints to provide for their longevity.
Paper Prints are produced on Textured Fine Art Paper : Mould-made, cold press, watercolor fine art paper made of 100% cotton linters with traditional matte finish. This fine art paper is acid-free and lignin-free which results in a high archival quality and long-term fade resistance. Basis Weight: 285 gsm (medium texture) All Fine Art Paper Prints include 2 inch margin of paper around the image.
Fine Art Paper Prints are not framed and ship rolled in a tube.
All Canvas Prints are Gallery Wrapped, Stretched on Standard Stretcher Bars (3/4" inches deep) with Image Wrapped Edges . Canvas Prints arrive Ready to Hang no framing necessary.
Canvas prints are produced on a Fine Art museum grade natural white canvas made of 2:1 poly/cotton blend with satin finish. This fine art canvas is acid-free which results in a high archival quality and long-term fade resistance. All canvas prints are coated with a UV protective Satin Finish (flexible water-based acrylic coating). Canvas Prints do not need to be placed under glass. The polymer coating protects the print from moisture, light, humidity and atmospheric contaminants. Coated canvas prints are washable with a soft cloth (microfiber) lightly dampened with water.

The Vectorgraphs (Vector Graphics) are vector-based fine art. There currently is no name for art made from vectors. Therefore, I invented the name "Vectorgraphs" to define this new art technique. The Vectorgraphs begin with a collaged composition of scanned hand drawn sketches, photographs and objects. With a digital pen and tablet and a vector editing software, the collage sketch is then translated into hundreds of hand-drawn vector shapes and countless layers. Drawing with vectors is a bit like “connect-the-dots”. I define each shape by making points and curved lines then fill in these lines with color or gradients.
The meticulous armature of lines and points allow these vector shapes to be carefully adjusted to the color, shade and transparency of choice. With Vectors, the drawing process is revolutionary compared to traditional pencil and paper. The process of forming vector drawing lines is more like shaping a flexible wire. It is a virtual stained glass window that can be pulled, stretched, diffused, reshaped and re-colored. Although more time consuming than traditional drawing or painting, this method allows changes to be made cleanly, spontaneously and readily without having to start over. Vectors allow for the creation of smooth clean crisp edges and curves and bold color almost like cut paper but more sophisticated. Also vector-based art can be scaled to almost any size without degrading the image clarity.
The Vectorgraphs take the finished physical from of a Giclée Print and are not a "copy" or "reproduction" of an original painting or drawing etc. Each Vectorgraph is considered an "original print" similar to Fine Art traditional printmaking. I produce my own Vectorgraph Prints at the Morton Arts Studio on our Epson Professional printer on Fine Art Media such as Paper or Canvas. I have 20 years of experience working with Epson Professional Media.
